2024 Annual Banquet
The 2024 Annual Banquet of Omni Powertrain Technologies – Asia took place on January 21st under the theme “Sail Before the Wind, the Dragon Rises to the Four Seas“, uniting all staff to embrace the New Year.
The evening commenced with a captivating Chinese drum performance, its thunderous beats resonating throughout the venue. Despite being physically distant, Managing Director Craig Daniel conveyed heartfelt New Year wishes to all attendees.
The highlight of the evening was the awarding ceremony, where employees who demonstrated outstanding dedication were honored. Recognitions included:
- Service awards for ten and twenty years.
- Accolades for star employees and teams.
- Appreciation for the continuous improvement team.
A special tribute was also extended to long-standing suppliers.
Acknowledging the challenges posed by the COVID-19 epidemic, the banquet marked the first gathering in three years. A poignant “OMNI in Heart” award was presented to employees who courageously served during the lockdown in 2022, sacrificing time with their families to safeguard our operations.
Following the awards, festivities commenced with a dynamic dragon dance, setting the stage for an array of captivating performances by employees showcasing their diverse talents through songs, skits, dances, recitations, and musical performances. Amidst thunderous applause and laughter, the spirit of unity and resilience prevailed.
Employees engaged in exciting games and a spirited lucky draw as the evening unfolded. The event culminated with the optimistic anthem, “Tomorrow Will Be Better,” echoing the collective determination to navigate the challenges of 2024 together.
